a spark of freedom lit in front of my head
the smooth dance of the flame took me out of bed
i was mesmerized
i felt like i was alive

it took me straight into another world
gifted me stars, wishes, drove out the curve
unpetrified
powerful regardless of time

convinced me that I was capable of anything, even of detonating the underground
i threw it all down

i was the queen of the lights
controlling over seas and skies
doesn't matter anyone's next move
i predict what i'm going to lose
but i don't care, no shame
i've learned how to bare the pain
i'm now the goddess of the flame
